Great casino let down by the absence of a mobile app

I have often noticed when trying out UK casinos that the range of games is on the small-side. This was not the case at Hollywoodbets though which provides a surprisingly impressive amount of choice, especially for a company whose speciality is sports. Within the casino, there were over 20 different providers, while the live casino had another four, ensuring ample variation there.

Most promotions here did relate to sports but, that said, there was still a decent serving of casino offers. I ended up receiving quite a number of free spins, none of which came with any upper earning on how much I could get in returns, restrictions some other casinos impose as a matter of course.

I did not find the Hollywoodbets website design to be anything special, in terms of aesthetics, but it was extremely easy to use. The search function was particularly great as you could apply extra filters when searching for a specific title or game type.

The biggest downside to my time at Hollywoodbets was that there was no mobile app for Android or iOS, only a mobile-compatible website. Outdated Casino Without any Special Feature

From my first look at Hollywoodbets, I discovered that it is not an American casino, but rather a South African gambling site! Frankly, the name is confusing; Hollywood has nothing to do with gambling, and the casino isn't related to the USA! And yet, it is as glamorous as a casino site can get.

As for the appearance of the platform, it is a bit outdated and reminds the casino web users of the sites that were launched at the end of the 90s. On top of that, I found the platform slow. It sometimes freezes, especially when operating games. Also, I was not pleasantly surprised to discover the site is not fully optimized for smartphones, so if you want to play here, it is better to stick with the desktop version.

From my experience with Hollywoodbets, I discovered that the casino is the second product here, while the first is sports betting. The available game selection is medium in size, and in many respects, it lacks the bare minimum of variety. Moreover, mobile game selection is considerably smaller.
